Refreshments
We have come up with a new system for refreshments. Three people sign up each month to bring refreshments (as before). Reminders of who is on for refreshments for the month will be in the Newsletter. One of the three will order/pickup one regular "Box of Joe" and one decaf "Box of Joe" with cups and sugar, creamers and stirrers, etc. from the DD across from the Library -- save the receipt to give to Helga for reimbursement.  Tea will by BYOT -- microwave in the library kitchen.  Lora and Sally will be taking care of refreshments for February.  The number for the DD is 607-754-1064.  Any questions, please contact Lora (222-3532).

Service Project Request
We will still be collecting lap robes for the nursing home.  Sharon Krotzer will be away, but MaryAnn has volunteered to collect and distribute them during Sharon's absence.  Thank you MaryAnn!

Anyone wishing to donate their stash can do so at these local places:
Johnson City Senior Center
Elizabeth Church Manor
Many Arms Reach You (Baby colors)
Elementary School Art Teachers
Your contributions will be greatly appreciated.

Naked Teddy Bears
We still have undressed Teddy Bears. We would like to dress them this spring and share them with children who need a bear hug.  Please find patterns for bear sweaters on the Program Notes page, so you can start working on a sweater to warm up a naked bear.
