Lace Sampler Scarf

Materials: 200 yards DK weight yarn, size 7 needles

Abbreviations:
K - Knit
P - Purl
 K2tog - Knit 2 together
 sl - slip stitch (purlwise, unless indicated)
St(s) - Stitch(es)
 ssk - (slip, slip, knit) Slip the next st knitwise onto the right hand needle, slip the next st purlwise onto the right hand needle, put the left hand needle into the front of the two sts on the right hand needle, then knit the 2 sts together
St st - Stockinette st: K 1 row on rs, p 1 row on ws
YO  - yarn over
S2KP – Slip 2 as if to k2tog, Knit 1, Pass slip stitches over k1
 K3tog – Knit 3 together
P2tog – Purl 2 together
P2tog tbl - Purl 2 together through the back loop
tbl – Through the back loop
 rep - repeat
rs - right side
 ws - wrong side



Pattern for Fifth Section of Lace Scarf

Section Divider: Sl 1, K across for 4 rows (26 sts), P 1 row, increasing 2 sts on last row (27 sts)

Square 5:

Row 1: (right side) Sl 1, *Ssk, K2, YO, K2; repeat from* to last 2 sts., K2.
Row 2: Sl 1, p to end. 
Rows 3-6: Repeat Rows 1 and 2 twice. 
Row 7: Sl 1, K3, *YO  K2, K2tog, K2; repeat from* to last 5 st. YO,  K2,  K2 tog, k1.
Row 8: Purl
Rows 9-12: Repeat Rows 7 and 8 twice.
Repeat these 12 rows.
